FAQ Please see our most asked questions - some you may not have even though of:
Q: Do you have public liability insurance?
A: Yes we are fully covered for public liability. We are insured with Mobile DJ Network. Many venue's have also started asking for PLI from the disco so make sure your disco is covered!
Q: Is your equipment PAT tested?
A: Yes all our equipment has a current PAT test. Many venue's won't allow disco's to set up without seeing thier gear is PAT tested, please bear it in mind when booking a disco.
Q: Is DJ Gaz / Sounds Disco available to Dj on the date of the event?
A: Check our calendar here. Better still send an email from the quote page, or text / call with your date & location of the party.
Q: Do we have to pay a deposit?
A: Please see the Deposits & Payments page for more information.
Q: What kind of music do you play?
A: Please see the Music page for more info. If you have any specific requests just let me have a list. Many weddings ask guests what they would like - however many people choose their favourite music which they probably listen to in the car / at home, so it doesn't always work in a disco setting so please bear that in mind.
Q: How long does it take to set up the disco?
A: We will need at least an hour to get the disco set up. However if for example your function room is at the top of the building and access is via stairs it could take longer to carry all the gear up. Our set up can be adapted to fit the venue size, to give you some idea please look at previous event photo's and the gear set-up pictures.
Q: How long do you hire us for?
A: Generally most functions are in the evening. We usually start at 7 / 8pm and end at 12 midnight. That's usually 5 Hours of none stop music. If we play any longer it is at our discrecion (we arn't just going to turn it all off if we are having a good night too).
Q: What if you fall ill / can't attned? Do you have insurance to cover this?
A: In all the years I've been doing this I've never been asked this and never not turned up to any gigs (even when I've had to drag myself out of bed / leave poorl kids etc). Ive told them if they pay me in full at least a week before the event I can sort this. lol (If you ask this, then I presume you don't know me, don't know my reputation and are just taking the piss!).
